• Condition: VG. The Family Basic keyboard is in great shape and appears to have been used lightly. No yellowing. All keys work great and have good response.
• Comes complete with keyboard, Basic software cartridge, manual, Q&A, sprite color chart. Note: missing the styrofoam inserts.
• I hooked it up after cleaning and played with it. The keyboard is made for smaller hands, but it was very interesting to play with the basic language. The manual is in Japanese, but the basic commands are in, uh, basic (English), and after a few minutes of "coding" I had a Mario sprite on the screen. Really fun introduction to programming and an excellent collector's piece. These are getting rare even in Japan.
• To play with the Family Basic, you'll need a Famicom unit.  The Family Basic plugs into the front port of the Famicom, then Basic cartridge goes into the Famicom cartridge slot just like a game.
• Cleaned and tested: Works fine.
